Unlink your device from the MessageWatcher portal (preferred) or from WhatsApp using the instructions below.

  1. To do this in MessageWatcher, first click on the User’s name with the WhatsApp account to unlink (deauthorize or unauthorize), then click on the WhatsApp tab, then click on the Unlink Device option, then click Continue in the pop up box.

  1. Refresh your Users in the upper right-hand corner where it says “Server cache time”.
  2. Verify that the WhatsApp service is unlinked on your user and shows a red exclamation mark.
  3. Delete the MessageWatcher WhatsApp service by selecting the user associated with the WhatsApp service, select the “Delete Services” button at the top, select “WhatsApp” in the dialog and then select the “Delete” button. You may also click on the user and select the WhatsApp tab and select the “Delete” button at the bottom of the WhatsApp tab (NOTE: verify that you are in WhatsApp tab of the user before selecting delete).
  4. Wait at least one minute.
  5. Add the WhatsApp service to the user and then link the device.
