Executive Group Feature
This feature allows an “Executive Group” to be added to the compliance portal which allows the executive group member’s messages to be excluded from access by any other admin or reviewer outside of the group. Only the admin(s) in the executive group can review messages for the members of this group or manage the group. Messages that the executive group sends or receives to employees in other groups or outside your firm are only viewable by admins of this new executive group.
Please contact support to enable this feature in your account, once enabled your executive group admin will be able to manage the new group within the compliance portal.
The feature allows for two levels of “account admin” privileges . An executive group account admin has full access to all group messages and features in the compliance portal including members of the executive group. The non-executive group account admin has full access to all features of the compliance portal but cannot search or view any messages sent to/from the executive group members. It is important that the executive group has at least one admin to review these privileged messages and manage the group membership.
Group reviewer permissions are still available; however, this executive group feature allows a group reviewer to be promoted to an “account admin” for additional access in the compliance portal while still maintaining privacy for the executive team’s messages.
The account admin role will allow the following enhanced compliance portal features as compared to a group reviewer:
- Access to all reports (except for audit reports for the executive group)
- Access to all non-executive groups for searching, review and reporting
- Ability to search for any email address not included in the executive group
- Not restricted to search or review on specific group(s), you can now search and review “All Groups” by default (this will automatically exclude the executive group member’s messages)
- Ability to manage all existing policies and rules and add new policies and rules and apply them to any group other than the executive group
- Ability to manage all existing users and groups and add new users, groups, and social media services
- Ability to add new domains and enable/disable services in the compliance portal
- Ability to set any permission on folders
