When providing archiving and related services, we generally act as a service provider or processor on behalf of the customer, while the customer remains responsible for determining how that information is collected, used, retained, and disclosed. Individuals whose communications are archived through an employer or other MessageWatcher customer should direct privacy requests to that organization, which controls those records.

If you are an employee or user of a MessageWatcher customer organization and your employer uses us to archive business communications, your employer—not MessageWatcher—is responsible for responding to requests regarding that archived information.

Our support search is designed not to include a user’s name, email address, account information, or other identifying information when submitting support questions to OpenAI. However, because users may voluntarily include personal, confidential, or other sensitive information within these fields, information entered by the user may be processed by OpenAI.
